It’s the end of November, I’ve done my main grocery shop and now ready to do my ‘Bulk Food Prep’ for the fortnight. However I do not have a huge amount to do due to already having a good amount of supply in my freezer!
If you have watched this fortnight’s grocery haul you know that we are on a super tight budget at the moment ! So being that I did already have a full freezer of meals from all of my bulk food prepping I’ve been doing over the last few weeks was amazing and came at such a good time. It means that in this fortnights groceries I actually didn’t need to spend my full budget and that’s what I really needed.
So keeping that in mind, yes I didn’t need to do a whole heap of bulk food prep. HOWEVER I did still make an effort into doing at least something, because I know the value of what it does for you in your future weeks (obviously it’s helped financially this fortnight). So whether you shop per week, per fortnight, or monthly, I would always suggest you do some sort of bulk food prep, because it all adds up and it will always be a benefit for you and your family.
